PROJECT DESCRIPTION
This project aimed to activate the CANES Communications Strategy by aligning stakeholders, defining objectives, and generating solutions.
The activation process informed a Communications Plan and guided the redesign of the SAILOR site, a critical digital resource for Navy personnel. The redesign focused on improving user experience, accessibility, and engagement to better support communication and services for the fleet. Insights from the process highlighted key areas for improvement, providing a data-driven foundation for enhancing CANES communication effectiveness and the overall user experience.

CONTEXT
How might we clarify the WAN Division's stakeholder ecosystem so that the Engineers can engage successfully?

PROCESS
To cultivate a shared understanding and define common goals for the CANES Communications Strategy, we conducted a structured activation process.
This included stakeholder engagement sessions, collaborative workshops, and data-driven analysis to identify key concerns and opportunities. Through synthesis, we extracted critical research themes that addressed communication challenges, recognized existing successes, and provided actionable insights. These findings informed the development of a comprehensive Communications Plan and guided the redesign of the SAILOR site to enhance fleet engagement.

OUTCOME
The outputs from this Activation served as a foundation to inform the development of an effective Communications Plan for CANES and as a guide for a redesign of the SAILOR site.
After synthesis, we were able to provide research themes that tackled the core topics of concern that highlighted some of its successes while also offering insightful solutions to create better engagement with the fleet.
